Lindsay Stammer, Director of Academy of Dance Arts

Lindsay has been the Director of Academy of Dance Arts since September of 2000 after having trained and performed with the studio for fifteen years.  Studying under the direction of Roberta Rehberg-Boorse and Michelle Azzolina, Lindsay is trained in Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop.   Her wide range of dance techniques guides her in overseeing the studio as it grows under her leadership. Her performance credits include: Summerfest, Festa Italiana , State Fair, Disney World, Lakefront Festival of the Arts, and the Milwaukee Rock Opera. Under her direction, ADA has traveled to perform at Disney World in Florida and in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  In addition to directing the studio, Lindsay teaches the kinder dance through elementary levels and all levels of Jazz and Tap.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Renee Harris-Mrzyglod, Ballet Director

Renee is thrilled to begin her tenth year teaching at Academy of Dance Arts! A native of Richmond, Virginia, she began her dance training at the School of the Richmond Ballet on a merit scholarship. She also studied at summer intensive programs at the San Francisco Ballet School, Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and the State University of New York Dance Program at Purchase. Renee enjoyed her professional Ballet career at The Milwaukee Ballet Company, Ballet Met, and the Dayton Ballet Company. Her seven year career as a Ballet dancer included performance highlights in her leading roles in Dermot Burke's Nutcracker, Cinderella in Christian Holder's An American Cinderella, ands "Emily" in Phillip Jerry's Our Town among others. After retiring from the stage, Renee attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she graduated Summa CumLaude in 2001 with her BBA in Finance and Marketing. Renee teaches Ballet classes at the Academy and heads up the Prepointe and Pointe program. When not in the studios, Renee enjoys spending time with her family.

 Rebecca Boldt

Rebecca is happy to be in her twenty-fifth year with the Academy of Dance Arts. She began dancing under the direction of Roberta Rehberg-Boorse, taking Ballet and Tap; and as the years went on she added Jazz, Hip Hop and Pointe to her class load. In high school she began assisting and teaching children of all ages. As a student at the University of Wiscsonsin-Milwaukee she continued teaching at the studio while earning her degree in Early Childhood Education where she graduated with honors. After graduation she went on to become a kindergarten teacher at a private school while continuing to work with the students she loves at the dance studio. She is also a member of Dancer Masters of Wisconsin and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, where she earned her certification as a dance teacher.

 

 Amie Ferrante

Over the span of a 30-year performing career, Amie has performed with Oak Park Civic Ballet, Beverly Ballet of Chicago, Dance Odyessey, Jazz Dance Chicago, Factory Dance Company, Dance Spectrum, Liturgical Dance Company, and numerous telvision programs in Cicago and Milwaukee.  Her teaching credits include certification by Dance Educators of America and as an Associate Member of the Fred Astaire National Dance Board.  She has also had invitations to teach ballet for Milwaukee Dance Connection under the direction of Allyne D. Gartrelle, MTSU in Nashville, TN, and various other dance studios, Universities, and Companies across the U.S.  Ms. Ferrante has provided dancers and Choreography for Bob McGrath of Sesame Street over a 7 year span during his performances at Kids Fest at the Marcus Ampitheater.  She was a resident consultant at Milwaukee High School of the Arts from November 2004 through June 2008, teachinmg classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, theater dance, tap, and ballroom.  In, addition, she also choreographs musical production for the West Allis Players and Shorewood Players.

 

 Eddie Molenda Jr.

Eddie Molenda has been hip-hop dancing for six years.  Eddie has danced with HyPerformance Dance Company for four years.  He has trained in Los Angelos at Millenium and Dennie Reynolds Dance studios.  He has also choreographed and danced in Mt. Mary's Urban Evolution Fashion Show and Milwaukees Holiday Lights Festival.
